An Obituary printed in the London Times - Interesting and sadly rather true.
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
- Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
- Why the early bird gets the worm;
- Life isn't always fair;
- and maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.
It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife, Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.
He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;
I Know My Rights
I Want It Now
Someone Else Is To Blame
I'm A Victim
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

I be Alive!...and soon to be dead T_T
At long last! I am back online now that the computer monitor and keyboard are already fixed (finally
). I have so much to write about now that the new year has come. It's 2009 and this is my first post for this year.
I'll probably start blogging those contained thoughts in my head soon because right now I have to seriously start working on my article since my deadline is on the 15th!
AND I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING WHATSOEVER SO FAR YET!!!
So before I get carried away and get hooked up doing something else, I'll cut this post short by greeting everyone...
Happy New Year!

I'll see you soon!

Open or Close
Thank God the pc is working again...temporarily that is and with the mouse and keyboard. It took the whole day in tweaking that stupid circuit breaker just to make it send enough current that will make the whole pc boot.
As I mentioned on my previous post, our power source is a little busted as it is grounded. And it kinda messed up the pc's system when it can't get enough power to run everything. The monitor actually turned into Christmas lights going on and off because of power fluctuation. Then if we're lucky to make the monitor go on smoothly, there isn't enough power to run the mouse and keyboard. And again, if we're luckier, we can get the mouse to function properly but no keyboard. Fun huh?
Grrrr. I actually had to use on-screen keyboard earlier tonight. What a drag, clicking like hell just to type your email username and password. And thanks to that, i realized, i had such a looooong password. It suddenly made me think of changing it just in case this kind of thing happens again. Lol. But hopefully, tomorrow or rather later (as it is already 2:15am) we can have the whole circuit breaker fixed. Miraculously, as of the moment, the pc is functioning fine that's why I am writing this blog. (Of course, I wouldn't be able to if I were using the on-screen keyboard. I would definitely NOT do it!).
Now I'm thinking: Should I turn the pc off or just leave it open overnight? Because probably, tomorrow it won't boot up again. I can always do either or - just have to weigh the pros & cons. haha. If I turn the pc off, 80% it will not boot up properly tomorrow. If I leave it overnight, there will be additional kWh on our electric bill. Not much of a choice huh? Lol.
But I think I'll just leave it overnight. We might need to check on something online tomorrow. Better be ready than sorry. Anyway, it's just for tonight.Hopefully.

No Power, No PC
I'm in an internet cafe now. I can't use the PC at home. Our electricity is unstable because it's grounded. Every now and then it fluctuates. So the computer won't boot properly since it can't get sufficient power to operate. Oh well...

I has nu vlog!
hooray! i have a new blog site... another new blog site. darn! why do i keep making these accounts when i don't even know if i can maintain it. lol. oh well, maybe that's just how things are suppose to be.
i actually made a "new" blog in wordpress last October 16 and now i'm thinking if i'm going to totally delete it. i'm transferring to blogspot since i like the freedom it gives you in customizing your blog site without having to purchase it as a premium feature. i like personalizing my stuff after all.
and so with this ceremonial first post, i welcome thee. wish me luck! ♥
